How Monica bought a brand new Manduka Mat
[info]koshimui
I've been considering buying a new yoga mat. I always suspected that my old mat is not up to par. In addition to being really worn-off it kinda started to smell. I went on a shopping quest.

How do I choose the most suitable mat from this selection, I thought at first. Someone was making pretty good money off of all these yoga products. There were blocks, straps, towels, bag, you name it. It looked there were so many yoga products, people really didn't know which ones were actually useful. I decide to narrow it down to my budget. I thought I would spend around $30 maximum.

Finally, I went to ask my yoga teacher, and he happened to be an expert and was actually running a site on yoga mats. It was called "Yoga Mat Reviews" duh. The site was operated by a group of yoga teachers who really knew what they were doing. There was quite a lot of feedback from regular practitioners and their opinions were very useful. I really learned a lot by reading the reviews and comments. Though it was not within budget, I purchased the most popular mat - Manduka BlackMat Pro.

I admit was happy I bought the Manduka Mat. The full review is available here -

The mat is doing an excellent job in supporting and cushioning. It's a bit heavy, but it does not bunch up and never slides. I'm going to write more reviews, as this mat got me very excited.
